Business Analyst & PM

Turn what our clients need into work our development and design team can build — specs, flows and delivery, alongside the founder.

Türkiye (Remote)Full-TimeFlexible 9-hour days (4-hour US team overlap + 5 flexible hours)

If you want a role where your judgment matters and the flexibility of remote work, this could be right for you. We're a US-based small company with team members in the US, Türkiye and other countries.

We build business software that runs operations. We focus on quality, not speed and quantity. To us great software is useful, intuitive, secure and reliable. It makes lives better for working people.

We're looking for a Business Analyst & PM to turn what our clients need into work our development and design team can build. You'll join client meetings, capture requirements, and translate them into clear, unambiguous specifications, then help keep the work moving: setting deadlines, aligning the team, and pushing projects forward alongside the founder.

To do well in this role, you must be an exceptional communicator who thinks in systems. You know what a good specification looks like because your specs have been built by real development teams.

What you'll do

  • Join client meetings, capture business requirements, and ask the questions that surface what's really needed
  • Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories with acceptance criteria, and process/flow diagrams the team can build from
  • Question and improve processes, not just capture them — flag gaps, risks, and simpler paths before anything gets built
  • Specify system behavior unambiguously — entities, states, rules, permissions, and edge cases
  • Coordinate delivery with the founder: set deadlines, align developers and designers, keep projects moving
  • Communicate with clients in writing — clarifications, updates, and follow-ups that are clear and professional

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years as a Business Analyst on software projects — your specifications have been built by development teams
  • You think in systems: objects and their relationships, workflows and statuses, roles and permissions, rules and edge cases
  • You spot where a client's process is broken and propose the better version — you don't just document what exists
  • You've produced functional specs, user stories with acceptance criteria, and process/flow diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal English. You'll join live client calls and over time run some on your own
  • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail — ambiguity in a spec is a bug
  • Some project management experience: setting deadlines, aligning a team, moving work forward
  • Comfortable working closely with developers and designers
  • Hands-on with diagramming tools (Miro, Lucidchart, or similar) and comfortable navigating Figma
  • Remote work experience. You own your workflow in Slack and a project management tool like Linear or Jira
  • Available for the 4-hour team overlap (09:00–13:00 ET / 16:00–20:00 Istanbul)
  • Based in Türkiye

Nice to have

  • Deeper technical fluency — reading data models, understanding APIs and integrations
  • Exposure to UX and user-centered design — you think about how people will actually use what you spec
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Grok)
  • Experience in field services or another process-heavy business: professional services, manufacturing, procurement, and the like

What we offer

  • Competitive salary, paid in USD
  • Fully remote from anywhere in Türkiye
  • Work-life balance (no rushed deadlines or long hours)
  • Long-term growth and ownership opportunities
  • Remote-first, async culture
